the end of the block you reach the intersection of Sharp and
Conway Street.To
the left is Oriole Park at Camden Yards.The immortal Babe Ruth is said to have been born in a
Tavern owned by his family that once occupied the spot where
the infield plays host to the American League’s finest.
To give you a little historic perspective, here’s a
photograph of the original Oriole Stadium circa 1938, long
after Babe had left Baltimore for Boston and eventually to
become the most storied player in New York Yankee history.
