Street.Cross
Montgomery to the south corner and cross Light at the Cross
Walk.
At
the southeast corner of Light and Montgomery turn around and
look behind you.This
is the fire station that houses Engine Company 2 (est. 1920),
the local ladder brigade that saved the storefronts on Cross
Street from the 1951 fire at Cross Street Market.

Now,
look to your left on the same side of the Light Street that
you are standing and you’ll see the Light Street
Presbyterian Church (formerly
South Church) at the corner of Light and Churchill. For
years, the Light Street Presbyterian Church has hosted Federal
Hill Community Association meetings, and continues to be one
of our best neighbors.
