Cross Street Market

.....Continue to head west on West Street. When you reach Light Street, turn right. Heading north on Light Street on the left hand side you will come upon the Cross Street Market.

Cross Street Market first opened for business in January 1846. Up until the 1980's, nearly all of the vendors in the market were descended from original South Baltimore Families (Hon). Like all of Baltimore's other Public Markets, Cross Street serves as the hub around which all of the neighborhood's commerce and social interactivity orbits. Cross Street Market not only offers a uniquely diverse selection of consumables and other merchandise, but it is an excellent place for serious people watching.
